Anyone else ever get really old emails in your in box? I mean more than a year after it was sent...?

I got a "new" email today...woo hoo...so I opened my in box....ok were is it I thought...I found it at the bottom of the list...it was spam..but here is the odd part...the date was Wed. 5/13/03...that is right folks 03...what if this was important and not spam? I guess it would not have mattered because it was 03 but still....what causes this? Is Yahoo that far behind? What else could I be missing that I don't know about? Also where has this email been hiding all these years? Is there an email bar you never hear about some where in cyber space were they can get fubar d' and lost? Any one know???
