What is the name of this movie?

The actress is "crazy" and is in the hospital and begins to commit suicide, a man begins banging on the door (looking through the window) and shatters the door down in attempt to save her. But he's too late.... I thought the actress was Hilary Swank, but I have been watching trailers to ALL her movies and none of them are it. PLEASE HELP! This is driving me crazy!!!
