Why is it that every woman i meet was once married, or has a child?

Nothing against single mothers who take care of their responsibilities, but every woman i meet that's around my age or older has either been divorced or has kids. Again, nothing wrong with divorced women or women with children. Your honest thoughts people...geez so many disclaimers, im trying very hard not to offend people because i just want an honest answer, but i already know people are going to take my question out of context as usual.
