When you delete or disable a youtube account does the entire page and the videos get deleted?

I made a typo in the username and wanted to start over. I do not want any of the information or videos or page to be ociated with this username. If I disable account will everything be deleted eventually? Because I can still search it but when I click the video it wont play. The videos still search though. Is it because I just uploaded them and it takes time for them to leave the youotube page?
