Does Purple Up also help supplement corals?

I have had an established nano reef tank for over a year and a half now and Its stoked with torch corals, Xenia's, star polyps, and zoanthids. I have wanted to add purple up to accelerate the coralline algae growth and since it contains strotium and calcium will it also be beneficial to my corals?
