Where on a 1986 Bronco II is the ECU found because it's not under the hood?

Behind the kick panel on the right side of the vehicle. this panel is the plastic panel just in front of the door next to your right foot when you are sitting in the penger seat. it extends from door to fire wall / floor to dash.
