Why Are My Ears Bleeding?

About last thursday or friday, my ears got clogged with something and it hurt really bad. so i tried to use a que tip to clean it out, but i did it with caution very slowly. nothing was in my ear, not even wax. well i got some medicine to help with the pain and used it, and the following morning, i woke up with a liquidy feeling in my ear so i did the same thing with the que tip, nice and slow, and when i pulled it out, there was blood all over it. now it has been about 2 days and the blood clogged ear hasnt gone away and it is starting to hurt even more. Is this something serious and should i get it checked out?
