Do Christians understand why people reject the Gospel?

2000 years ago, a Jewish carpenter walked on water, raised people from the dead, was crucified and ressurected and 40 days after his ressurection he cended bodily into Heaven where he now sits next to his dad. Oh...and his dad created the Universe! If you don't believe this, you're going to spend trillions of years in hell..and then some. I'm sure most Christians will reject what written in the Zend Avesta (Zoroastrians scriptures) about Ahura Mazda even though the writers were allegedly witnesses just like the bible authors.
