Should I get the Flu Shot for my kids and me?

I hear you. I got the H1N1 shot and ended up with a fever and aches for 18 days straight! So I obviously don't recommend it. I hardly ever get the flu so I am steering clear of them. I have had most doctors tell me that it wasn't the vaccine that made me sick, that it was a coincidence, I think that is an insult to my intelligence to be honest. I have had other doctors tell me the complete opposite, healthy person, never get the flu, gets the shot, gets super sick... hmmmm... might be a connection. My thoughts are not to get them anymore, I'm not and I am not getting them for my little girl and more either. I just don't trust things anymore. Now I am not saying don't get vaccines, obviously there are diseases we need to prevent and have vaccines for, measles, mumps, etc. these can kill you or make you very sick so why not prevent them, but the flu is one I will take my chances with.
