Terminator Storyline (#'s 1-3 and terminator salvation)?

ok in the 1st movie Sara Connor is just a single 20 something lady, who finds out that all the women in town names Sara Connor are being murdered. It turns out that she is destined to me the mother of a child that will save all of humanity from evil robots. The robots build a time machine and send back a terminator to kill sara before she has any children to prevent her son from being born. The people in the future who are at war with the robots send back a man to warn and protect sara. The man falls in love with sara and ends up knocking sara up before he is killed by the terminator. In the second movie the son is like 13 or so years old, and the older model terminator has ben re-programed to protect sara and her son from the other terminators. I haven't seen the 3rd or 4th movie, but I ume that it progresses to the point that the robots have actually taken over, and the robot human war has actually started.
